Residential project Expectations
Before we arrive:
Please clear off all shelves, cabinets, chests, and other furniture that are on or against the wall.
Please remove any art/decor hanging on the walls.
Please clear any miscellaneous items that reside on the floors near or against the walls.
If we are painting your ceiling, we will cover all furniture.
Furniture can be moved by Shanks Painting if you need assistance.
For outdoor work, please remove any toys or machinery near the exterior of the home and trim any bushes or trees so that we can more easily access the project area. If your sprinkler system is set for daytime, please turn off or change the settings to evenings. We also ask that you notify us of any wasp/bee nests and clean up any pet waste.
While we are there:
Please notify us of any special parking situation.
Please keep the rooms clear of people, toys, and other obstructions that may get in the way of the project.
It is preferred that someone is available at the home if any questions may arise.
If you notice any issues or have any questions while we are there, please bring it to the attention of Mike Shanks.
The inspection process:
Once a project concludes, the painters will review the project with the homeowner. In most cases, Mike Shanks will also inspect the project.
Touch-ups and additional work will be completed as necessary to ensure satisfaction with the project.
